FYI, I just added a Crowley Gifs tag to my little Graphics link on my blog. Because I do occasionally make bad gifs???

Remember those high school kids who Saoirse said she was going to eat their blood?

Well, we went back to the corner store today and they were there and one of them goes, “Hey! It’s the Princess of Hell!” And the next thing I know there’s like five high school kids talking to Saoirse and two of them bought her candy while the others were like ‘be a zombie for us’ and she literally was having like the best time pretending to eat them and for whatever reason they just thought it was hilarious. Then one of the kid’s older sister showed up and she had a full sleeve of Adventure Time tattoos and Saoirse just died, she loved them so much and the girl got a kick out of Saoirse naming all the characters and trying to talk like them.

idk, what the lesson here is but apparently if you’re tiny and cute and threaten to eat and/or disembowel people they will love you and give you free candy.

Just write. Keep writing. Don’t delete anything. Don’t edit. Don’t go back and obsess over that one sentence that just doesn’t seem to work.

Just write until you reach the end.

Trust me on this. Don’t stress about making it perfect, just finish it because in the end it’ll be perfect because you wrote it and you can do it!

I’m pretty happy with the elf character but I’m still wobbling on the main character because even in my own works I care more about the minor characters than I do the main ones, whoops.

Hello, lovely! I know it's really, really personal but, is it ok if I ask if you could tell us what exactly you told Mark that second time you met him, and what he told you? It’s fine! I used to be embarrassed about sharing but I’m not anymore.

I did make a post about it here but basically what happened was this:

He had just signed the two lovely pieces of artwork from kadabbs and I was standing there, about to walk away when I blurted out, “I just want to thank you for everything you’ve done for me.”

He says, “What do you mean?” And I’m standing there with other people in line and Mark Sheppard, love of my life, is looking at me and it was so hard to be like ‘well I was depressed and took enough pills to almost kill me, I even stopped breathing, but the only reason I went to get help was because of Crowley’. So I said, “I wouldn’t be here. I almost died.”

And that’s when he gave me that stupid head tilt and said, “You can’t just leave it at that. It’s okay, tell me what happened.”

Let me say that for someone who has always been terrified of admitting to my attempt, that was probably the most reassuring thing anyone has ever said to me. I didn’t feel judged or like I was about to get a lecture. The whole conversation I never felt like I was stupid for what I did. He talked about the things he’d been through, etc.

Pretty much everything is in the post but yeah. Most of the time when I try to explain what happened to me, people don’t seem to get it. They wonder why. But he understood and that was literally the most important thing to me.

I think the only thing that I didn’t write in the first post was that at one point we were talking about how irrational depression was and how much it can hurt and he said, “If you ever feel like you want to hurt yourself, try getting a tattoo. It’s better than leaving scars.”

Which almost sent me into tears because on my right shoulder I have a devil’s tail that I got because of Crowley. Because Crowley is the better demon on my shoulder and I’m here because of that character and Mark.

And I will never not love them.
